During my recent tour of the Midwest, I had the privilege of visiting with a friend who I have known since I was a little girl. She now has her own little family, who I got to spend a rainy and beautiful afternoon shooting!

I was home recently for my annual summer visit, and reconnected with some of my all-time favorite families! I've had the pleasure of snapping photos of these lovely little free spirits for the past 3 years. They're so fun to shoot as they just do their thing. They're leaving Mpls soon and moving to IL, so I thought St. Anthony's Main make be the perfect backdrop!

And frogs, and fish, and imagination...that's what this fun afternoon was made of!  I joined Paul and Nina, along with their respective parents, for a backyard adventure full of critters- real and otherwise.

I recently had the pleasure of photographing baby Nina, the daughter of one of my dearest friends. Nina and I had a lovely afternoon while momma got some work done.
